The Belly of the Wave
These little fish swimming close to the surface go unnoticed by most. When the light is right you can see them inside the belly of the waves like small silver leaves.
I could spend hours looking at them.
Paper toss
Paper, high wall, witnesses… can’t let this chance pass! Over mom, over my friend and… score!
I think something like this may have gone over my friend’s kid mind, seconds before he surprised us with a perfect toss over our heads into the neighboring garden.
To some it may seem like a random impulse, not always appreciated, but it’s what drives the creativity in our minds. A way of building a skill for problem solving later in life.

The other day our youngest daughter met a girl her age at the beach. At some point they held hands and walked together, a friendship had started. It didn’t matter that they don’t speak the same language.
Is it June yet?
This guy is helping us count the weeks until the end of school…
